Christmas season is a good time to become a Christian by entering into relationship with the divine Trinity through believing in Jesus Christ whose birth we are celebrating. Becoming a Christian is simple. Here are some steps you can take to start your life with Jesus Christ.

Easy As ABC (and R)

A.) Admit to God that you’re a sinner whose eternal future is Hell – a place of just, eternal, and deserved punishment for our sins. We are justly under the wrath of God because of our sins. You desperately need a Savior from the wrath of God.

B.) Believe that Jesus Christ is your only Savior because he died on the cross of Calvary to pay the penalty for your sins and rose again on the third day for your justification and forgiveness. He is alive and with us forever!

C.) Commit and surrender your life to Jesus by believing in Him as your Savior and follow him in obedience as the Lord of your life. The Bible says that

“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

Romans 10:9

“He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him. But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.”

John 1:11-12

R.) Reach out to other Christians and join a local church that believes and teaches the Bible.
