Rejoicing or being pleased while pretending to be sympathetic with the misfortune of fellow believers is just plain wickedness
Rejoicing or being pleased while pretending to be sympathetic with the misfortune of fellow believers is just plain wickedness. God warns us against this in the Bible when he said:”Do not rejoice when your enemy falls, and let not your heart be glad when he stumbles”…”Do not gloat over the day of your brother in the day of his misfortune; do not rejoice over the people of Judah in the day of their ruin; do not boast in the day of distress”(Proverbs 24:17;Obadiah 1:12). That is not the spirit of Christ who tells us to mourn with those who mourn. No one is immune to problems in this life including those who take advantage of the failures and problems of others. We must not forget that the Bible warns us thus, “Let him that thinketh he standeth, beware lest he fall”! So, my beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, let us do better because we can do better by the grace of God. A word is enough for the wise!!! Peace be with you.
